One
Modou Nyang was recently granted a court bail of D100,000 with two Gambian
sureties, who should deposit their ID cards.
The accused, Modou Nyang, was on 11 April 2012 brought before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with reckless driving causing death.
The charge sheet stated that the accused on 5 April 2012, between 18:00hrs and 19:00hrs GMT, along Gacem Road, in the Kanifing Municipality, drove a vehicle with registration number BJL 0529, in a negligent manner which led to the demise of one Ousman Cham of Kunkujang Keitaya.
The case was then adjourned till 24 April 2012.
