One Lamin Dibba was recently brought before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with attempting to rape.
He denied the allegation and was subsequently remanded in custody till 16 April 2012.
The charge sheet revealed that the accused, Lamin Dibba, on 1 March 2012, at Bakau Tamba Kunda, in the Kanifing Municipality, took a five-year-old child to an incomplete building,with an attempt to rape her by undressing her naked.
