The suspect, who was alleged to have impregnated his biological daughter and strangled the new-born baby to death, is currently detained at the Bakoteh police station helping the police in their investigations.
Police spokesperson ASP David Kujabi at a press briefing held at the Bakoteh police station said the police got a tip-off that the suspect allegedly impregnated his 20-years-old daughter for the second time and, after helping her to deliver the child, he strangled the new-born baby.
The PRO further disclosed that it started in 2011, when he first impregnated the daughter at the age of 17, but successfully aborted the pregnancy to avoid public notice.
“He has now been charged, and after completion of the investigation, the case file would be forwarded for prosecution,” police PRO David Kujabi announced.
