A man was recently arraigned before Magistrate Jallow of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with attempting to commit felony.
Cherno Cham denied the charge and was granted court bail of D5,000, with two Gambian sureties, who must deposit their ID cards.
The charge sheet read that on 4 August 2011, at Bakau Sanchaba, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Cherno Cham, entered into the compound of one Lamin Dibba, with intent to commit felony, therein to wit stealing.
Hearing continues on 18 August 2011.
