Magistrate Drammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 2nd June 2010, heard a criminal case of attempting to commit a felony brought against one Sheikh Dibba.
The accused, Sheikh Dibba, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, was granted a court bail in the sum of D2, 500 with a Gambian surety.
According to the particulars of offence on 24th May 2010, at Fajara in the Kanifing Municipality unlawfully entered in the compound of one Lamin Sanneh with an attempt to commit a felony to wit stealing.
The case was adjourned to 7th June 2010.
In a similar development, one Bai Modou Faal was also on the same day arraigned before the same magistrate at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing.
According to the particulars of offence on 29th May 2010, at Dippa-Kunda in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused Bai Modou Faal stole a mobile phone mark Nokia, valued at D2, 000, being the property of one Isatou Jobe of Bakau New-Town.
Meanwhile, the accused who pleaded not guilty to the charge was granted a court bail in the sum of D5, 000, with a Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 16th June 2010.
