A five-day
workshop on malaria prevention and control recently commenced at Banyaka Village in Kombo South.The workshop brought together 40 participants
from the village. Speaking at the opening ceremony, held at Banyaka Lower Basic School , Lamin Sambou, a workshop
facilitator, said the aim of the workshop is to educate on malaria control and
prevention. He urged the participants to take the workshop seriously and make
good use of the knowledge gained. He revealed that more and more workshops will
be held in Kombo South in order to reduce the instance of malaria in the area.
