On Monday, the President had a rally in Farafenni as part of the tour, during which he appealed to Gambians to be united and resist negative external influence.
According to GRTS, the 19-day tour is meant to create a platform for the people to identify gaps in development areas and chart the way forward.
The tour will give the Gambian leader the opportunity to assess this year’s cropping season at various selected farms, as well as inspect development projects across the country.
Jammeh will also see progress made in rice cultivation.
The way forward
