The Gambia Football Federation’s second division league matches are set to continue today, Friday 4 December 2015.

As part of today’s fixtures, Immigration will lock horns with Serrekunda East Bi, at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Immigration and Serrekunda both finished in the second tier mid-table last season, and will be contesting for a victory against each in order to improve their chances of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.

BK Milan will rub shoulders with Red Hawks at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium. BK Milan and Red Hawks gained promotion to the second tier after winning their respective regional third division league title, and will be fighting for a win against each other to boost their hopes of staying in the second tier next season and avoiding relegation to the third.

Elsewhere, Lamin United will host Marimoo in the other week-one fixtures at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on the same day.

Lamin United finished mid-table in the second tier last season and will be marking for a victory against Marimoo to grab the vital three points.

Marimoo, who missed first division promotion berth to Steve Biko last season, will be hoping for a positive result against Lamin United to increase their chances of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.
