The 2012 Gambia Football Association Super Nawettan zonal football tournament has been released by the Super Nawettan coordinating committee.
The 2009 champions, Serrekunda East, will rub shoulders with Serrekunda West in the all-Serrekunda derby opening game on Sunday 2 December 2012, at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Serrekunda East, who have won the championship, were eliminated in the group stage last season, while Serrekunda West were also eliminated in the group phase in the same season.
The 2006 runners-up, Brikama, will host last year’s runners-up Sukuta at the Brikama Mini Stadium on the same day.
Brikama will be hoping for revenge after their embarrassing 1-0 defeat to Sukuta last year.
Defending champions Lamin will kick-start their campaign with defending their 2011 Super Nawettan zonal competition title crown when they meet city boys Banjul at the Banjul KG 5 Mini Stadium on Tuesday 4 December 2012.
Elsewhere, Manjai will clash with Barra, Essau and Mayamba at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on the same day.
