The Gambia will rub shoulders with Uganda in an international friendly game set for today, Tuesday 9 June 2015, at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.

Today’s meeting will be the first-ever meeting of the Gambia and Uganda in the international friendly, as both sides are bracing up for the continent’s biggest bi-annual football fiesta, 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Scorpions will use today’s international friendly tie against Carnes to prepare themselves well for their crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers away to South Africa on 13 June 2015.

The Carnes will also use the international friendly match against the Scorpions to prepare for their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at home in Botswana on 13 June 2015, at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.
