The latest Coca Cola FIFA World Rankings released by football’s world governing body on Thursday has seen The Gambia improve on its standing both in the continent and globally.
The ranking released yesterday saw The Gambia improve 3 places from its previous standing of 42 in the continent to 39 and also improve 27 places from the previous global ranking of 162 to 136.
The improvement came following the Scorpions win over the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in their final game of the 2014 Brazil World Cup qualifiers played in Banjul last weekend.
