The president of the Gambia Athletics Association, Dodou Capi Joof, will lead a delegation comprising two athletes to the famous Gore international marathon, slated for Saturday, December 1, in Senegal.
Mr Joof is participating as an invited guest of honour while Gambian long distance runners Lamin Sanneh and Mariam T. Jallow will represent The Gambia in the marathon.
The marathon is organised by an international sports marketing company headed by Jamil Fye, a renowned sports promoter.
They Gambian party is expected to leave town on November 29.
