Farato
on Sunday defeated Tanji on penalties, after their stalemate draw in regulation
time of their semifinal game played at the Sanyang Football Field to progress
to the 2017 Berewuleng Football club sponsored Kombo South football tournament
final.
Farato
beat Sanyang in the quarterfinal before their Sunday’s semifinal fixtures with
Tanji, who defeated Mamuda in the quarterfinal.
The
semifinal encounter was not an easy task as both sides came all out to beat
each other to progress to the final but the regular time fail to produce a
winner.
This
pushed the game into a penalty shootout, which ended in favour of Farato.
