The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Gambian Beach Soccer referee Omar Kebbeh as reserve assistant referee for the upcoming Beach Soccer qualifier match between Nigeria and Ghana.
The match is slated for 10th October 2026 at the Murtala Muhammed Square Beach Soccer Arena in Kaduna at 4pm local time.
Kebbeh, along with Yusupha Sanyang, is among the first Gambians CAF has appointed to officiate international Beach Soccer matches.
Their appointments highlighted the growing presence of Gambian referees in both Football and Beach Soccer, entrusted by the Continental body to officiate matches.
