According to the particulars of offence, on 21May 2014 at Manjai Kunda in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused wrote to the Office of the President alleging that the Gambia Tourism Board (GTB) unlawfully closed her Gaming House called ‘LUCKY PALACE’ which she knew was false, and thereby committed an offence.
When the charge sheet was read to the accused, she pleaded not guilty to the charge, and was granted bail of D50,000 or provide a Gambian surety who must possess a Gambian ID card.
The accused was also ordered to surrender her travel documents.
The case continues on 13 October, 2014.
