Reports monitored over GRTS last evening has it that President Yahya Jammeh has with effect from yesterday demoted Lt. Col. Kawsu Camara commonly known as Bombarde to the rank of private and subsequently dismissed him from the army.
In the same vein the statement went on, the President has also dismissed Mr. Modou Gaye Deputy Inspector General of Police from the Gambia Police Force.
