Christian Salvage Mission Canada donates to school, others

As part of their drive to promote and develop education and complement the government’s efforts in the education sector in The Gambia, Christian Salvage Mission Canada Monday donated books to schools, churches and ministries.

The beneficiaries are Latrikunda Upper Basic School, Gambia Senior Secondary School, Bakau Upper Basic School, Glory Baptist Upper and Senior Secondary School, University of The Gambia, the Gambia College, youth organizations, churches and ministries.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony held at FES Gambia office in Fajara, the chairman FES Gambia, Pastor Chinedu, said they are delighted to support schools, youth organizations and ministries in the country with books.

Chinedu challenged the beneficiaries to make best use of the books, and encouraged them to read the donated books.

The director of FES-Gambia, Mr. Odonko, said education is key to success in life, and encouraged the beneficiaries to make best use of the donated books.

The beneficiaries thanked the donor for the timely gesture, and assured the organization that the donated books would be put into good use.
