Boost for Gunjur United FC

Lamin Sarr, a former player of Y.S.B FC and a native of Gunjur residing in the United Kingdom, and his friends, on Sunday donated jerseys to Gunjur United.

The donation was part of Lamin Sarr and his friends’ contribution towards the development of sports in Gunjur and its satellite areas, especially football.

Receiving the donated items at a colourful presentation ceremony held at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field, Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA) executives applauded Lamin Sarr and his friends for the valuable gesture, saying the donated items would aid Gunjur United FC in their quest to glory in the West Coast Region third division league competition. Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA) also seized the opportunity to call on other Gunjurians in the Diaspora to emulate Lamin Sarr and his friends for the tremendous gesture.

Presenting the items to Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA), Lamin Sarr and his friends expressed glad for rendering support to Gunjur United FC, who are currently plying their trade in the West Coast Region third division league.

The presentation ceremony was witnessed by Gunjur United FC’s president Seedou Kunta, team manager Sulayman Sambou, Technical Director Hatab Jobe and Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA) executive members.
