Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the hospital grounds, Faye Suso said Alison Happer is a friend and works as a community nurse, who collected the materials and gave them to him to send them to The Gambia.
He said they have a community-based organisation, a charity called JUICE, which jointly undertakes community education, nothing that the organisation was formed in 2010 to support the community organisation and projects in The Gambia.
They have been giving support in the area of skills development, education, health, sports development and entrepreneurship targeting young people and women, he added.
Yorro Cham, public health officer expressed happiness about the gesture, noting that it would go a long way in strengthening health delivery and help the ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
