Babylon on Sunday 27 October 2013 thrashed Sarahuleh Kunda 3-0 in the game of the ongoing Late Mamudou Max Jallow Memorial Mandinaring Nawettan competition played at the Mandinaring football field.
Both sides came into the game with the intention of bagging the maximum points to qualify for the next round of the competition as well as to keep their chances of landing silverware in Mandinaring summer biggest football jamboree competition this season.
Being the better side of the game, Babylon dominated ball possession, created numerous goal-scoring opportunities and managed to blast three astonishing goals to carry the maximum points at the expense of their opponents Sarahuleh Kunda.
Sarahuleh Kunda responded back quickly and created few goal-scoring opportunities but could not break through Babylon’s solid defence, thus the game ended 3-0 in favour of Babylon.
The win has earned Babylon a place in the next round of the late Mamudou Max Jallow Memorial Mandinaring Nawettan competition after a stunning victory over the embattled Sarahuleh Kunda side.
The championship is organised by Mandinaring Sports Committee (MSC) in memory of the former executive secretary of the National Sports Council, who passed way on19 May 2013 after brief illness.
