Alleged possession of stolen property case progresses

The second prosecution witness, Kala Jah, recently testified in the trial involving one Ejeke Wufu, who was charged with the offence of being found in possession of stolen property, at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Ibrahim Kijera.

PW2 told the court that he lives in Churchill’s Town, and he is a mechanic by profession, and he knew one Masanneh Ngum.

He recalled the 6th of November 2013, when the complainant, Masanneh Ngum, called him and informed him that he Masanneh had a vehicle which had a break failure.

He said Masanneh told him that his son Ousainou would bring it to him at his workshop, adding that when the vehicle was brought to him at his workshop, he realized that the caliper break of the vehicle had failed and he informed the complainant that the caliper break of the vehicle had a problem.

The son of the complainant told him the witness to fix the caliper break and if his father came, he would pay him, he said, adding that from that day, he did not see the son of the complainant and this was all what he knew about the case.
