Alleged mobile phone thief arraigned

A man called Amadou Jallow was recently arraigned before Magistrate Gomez of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing from a person.

Jallow denied any wrongdoing and was granted court bail of D1,000 with a Gambian surety who must deposit an ID card.

Hearing was adjourned to 3 November 2015.

The charge sheet read that on 17 October 2015, at Serrekunda in the Kanifing Municipality, he stole from one Abdourahman Sowe one mobile phone marked Nokia valued at D400, the property of the said Abdourahman Sowe.
