Alleged Farefenni Military Barrack Attacker To Open His Defence

Abdoulie Sonko who was alleged to have involved in the Farefenni Military Barrack attack some years ago, is expected to open his defence on the next sitting of the case.

He was yesterday expected to open his defence before Justice Joseph Wowo of the Banjul High Court, but the case could not proceed as the exhibits demanded by the Defence Counsel Lamin Camara were not attach to the case file.

The court later adjourned the case to enable them contact the clerks who had custody of the case file before.

According to the accused Abdoulie Sonko, he was first arraigned at the Banjul Magistrates' Court, and the case was later transferred to the Banjul High Court.

At the Banjul High Court, the case was handled by Justice Tahir, Justice Paul, Justice Monajeng, Justice Yahoam and it's now before Justice Joseph Wowo.
