One Jibriel Bah was recently discharged by magistrate Drammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates? Court for the alleged offence of wilful damage to property.
Police prosecutor 525 Jawo, who was holding brief for prosecutor Nying, said that the prosecutor was sick and that he was applying for an adjournment.
Magistrate Drammeh, however, discharged the accused person, who was in fact not present in court. She went on to state that, when the case was mentioned, the prosecutor had asked who was handling the matter.
