After Pharaoh and his army that had given chase to the Children of Israel - soon after they left Egypt - were drowned in the Red Sea, the Israelites burst into singing. "Who among the gods is like you, O Lord? Who is like You -- majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? (Ex.15:11)
They could not contain their joy in the light of the victory God's intervention brought them over their enemies.
For God, this was just the start of the numerous miracles or mighty works He would perform on their behalf.
It was a major defeat over the Egyptians and a resounding victory for the Israelites. None, no Israelite, was lost. They all crossed the Red Sea on dry ground to the other side. Hallelujah! All their fears disappeared in thin air.

What joyful song have you sung for the victories that God has put on your way as you traverse life's journey? What gratitude have you expressed to God for seeing you through the many trials and temptations and the difficulties the devil has put in your way?
Our Lord and Saviour requires us to always give thanks. Nothing happens by chance in our lives. God is intentional.
Let us continually give God thanks and praise every morning that we wake up - for His goodness, loving kindness, tender mercies and manifold blessings He has put on our way.
For He alone is worthy of our adoration and praise.
