Pa Assan Barrow alias Gutty gave Gunjur United the lead in the first half from an astonishing free-kick before budding Rashidou Njie alias Zala scored the second goal in the second half to inspire the Coastal Town boys to a resounding 2-0 victory over Gamtel.
The win earned Gunjur United a place in the semifinals of the 2021-2022 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) FF Cup competition.
The Coastal Town boys will now turn their attention to their 2021-2022 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League week-28 fixture against Young Africans on Monday 18th July 2022 at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Yundum at 4pm.
