The Scorpions defeated Fortune FC 2-1 in their first warm up match before locking horns with the Bakau giant killers in their second friendly game.

Steve Biko fought back for an equaliser but to no avail thus the first half ended 1-0 in favour of The Gambia U-20 team.
Upon resumption of the match, The Gambia U-20 team maintained their supremacy over Steve Biko and created numerous goal scoring opportunities.
Substitute Lamin Sarr scored the second goal for The Gambia U-20 team in the 57th minute of the match to impede Steve Biko’s hopes of coming back to their feet.
Steve Biko fought hard for an equalizer and piled pressure on The Gambia U-20 team defence line and crafted some goal scoring chances.
Modou Lamin Touray pulled out one goal for Steve Biko in the 75th minute of the match, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.
Assan Badjie netted the third goal for The Gambia U-20 team in the 85th minute of the match thus the match ended 3-1 in favour of The Gambia U-20 team.
Meanwhile, Coach Abdoulie Bojang and his Young Scorpions charges are currently preparing themselves set for the All Africa Games, Accra 2023 slated to begin on 8th March 2024.
