Gambia to clash with Kosovo in 3rd int’l friendly match today

The Gambia senior national team will clash with Kosovo in their third and final international friendly match today, Thursday in Turkey at 5 p.m.

The Scorpions thumped Niger 2-0 in their first international friendly fixture played last Saturday, thanks to goals from winger Abdoulie Jallow and striker Muhammed Badamosi in the 26th and 92nd minute of the match respectively.

Coach Tom Saintfiet and his charges defeated Togo 1-0 in their second international friendly clash played on Tuesday.

Debutant defender James Gomez was on the score sheet for The Gambia in the second half of match.

The Gambia will fight to trounce Kosovo to clasp their third victory in their international training camp in Turkey, after defeating Niger and Togo in their opening two international friendly matches.

The international training camp is part of the Scorpions preparations for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Cameroon.
