The event is courtesy of Gam Food Trading alongside the United States Poultry and Egg Export Council. Featuring renowned chefs, culinary experts, and food vendors, the forthcoming chicken festival will not only showcase local cuisines, but will also prove to the world what the country has to offer.
From the spicy cuisines and rich menu to choose from amid maximum entertainment, the public is encouraged to come and see, feel and experience the difference.
“It is a family fun day outing the likes of which you have never seen. We therefore, welcome friends and families to this first-ever chicken festival,” said organisers.
The objective of the event, according to organizers, is to promote American chicken products, Gam Food Trading and other partners and stakeholders in the local cuisine industry. It is anticipated that through the festival, popular chicken-based restaurants, vendors, and retailers in The Gambia, will henceforth endorse American chicken products for their businesses.
Tipped as ‘a must-go’ event, the festival will encompass a diverse range of delicacies to respond to the appetite of the public.
“This chicken festival will be a family-friendly event with entertainment for all ages. For younger children, there will be bouncing castles and other fun activities. A raffle draw will be held, giving all attendees an opportunity to win exciting prizes.”

This event will not only delight attendees with mouthwatering chicken dishes but also showcase the potential for mutually beneficial partnerships in the food industry. We believe that through this festival, we can strengthen trade relations, promote high-quality poultry and egg exports, and create a lasting impression of American chicken in The Gambia's culinary landscape,” also said organisers.
Food Stalls:
Scores of savory chicken dishes by talented chefs, culinary experts, and food vendors will be on display.
Each stall will offer a variety of chicken dishes, including but not limited to grilled chicken wings, fried chicken, chicken burgers, grilled chicken, roasted chicken, smoked chicken, chicken benachin, chicken yassa, chicken domoda, chicken on skewers and other creative chicken-based dishes.

It will not only create a chance to people to make new friends, but will also avail a perfect opportunity for people to wine and dine from an array of industry's finest acts.
