“As Gambians we must believe in the principles of unity, democracy and strength in our diversity,” he said.
“We can change the story of The Gambia for the future generations so that poverty and difficulty can be eradicated from this country,” he added.
He highlighted that as the Local Government Elections are approaching, they will continue to stand resolute and focused on their objective to bring progress, good governance and development to the people.
“I urge you all to stand firm and reject the notion that though we have different views and come from different identities that we cannot as a people push for the supreme interest of our beloved nation,” he stated.
“Let justice guide our actions towards the common good and join our diverse peoples to prove man's brotherhood,” he added.
“I pledge my firm allegiance, my promise to you the people of KMC. I hereby renew that with the help of Allah, I shall do all in my power to deliver a mandate of unprecedented development and improved services so that every resident of KMC shall enjoy in the shared desire of all Gambians for progress, peace and prosperity,” he promised.
