In a press release issued on 27th December 2023, Tabax-Reewmi stated that the organisation comprises dynamic, honest patriots of The Gambia who are committed to educating the people of The Gambia in affairs of the state.
The charitable organisation was established by young men and women in The Gambia for people to familiarise with the affairs, interests and growth of both civic and public institutions including the private sectors in the country.
Its vision is to promote the principles of accountability, probity and transparency.
The objective of the organisation is to advocate for honesty, openness and responsibility in the utilisation of public resources as well as advocate not only for laws that protect the dignity and welfare of the people of The Gambia but also to serve as an example of leadership that is honest, transparent and accountable to the public and educate the public and raise awareness regarding the functioning of the state.
“Young people in the field of advocacy, the organization without any humour affirmed that everyone must adhere to their actions, behaviour, performance and decisions and its oath is to be defended across all sectors of the Gambian economy in fostering a strong democratic system,” the release pointed out.
The release further indicated that the members of the organiszation operate under the guidance of a prominent executive committee responsible for coordination, and an advisory board that offers advice and expertise to support the organisation's ambitions.
Ahmadou M.H. Kah, leader of the organisation said, “We believe in the power of collaboration and recognise the importance of engaging with key stakeholders who share our vision and values.”
