“The new website introduces key services that enhance our self-assessment tax system,” GRA deputy Commissioner General Essa Jallow stated.“These services include the online tax calculators (where taxpayers can compute their taxes), and the Staff Identification tool (where taxpayers and the general public can verify the identity of GRA officers attending to them).”
The new website also introduces geospatial tools that “enable the public to easily access and navigate” GRA’s office locations throughout the country.
Deputising for the Commissioner General, Mr Essa Jallow, the Deputy Commissioner General & Head of Domestic Taxes, thanked the World Bank (Gambia Fiscal Management Project) for their support and expressed optimism that the Website would significantly facilitate the sharing of information. He further stated:“The new website will improve our visibility, strengthen our credibility, and deepen our relevance among our esteemed stakeholders.”
He concluded by thanking the esteemed taxpayers for their continued support and cooperation and encouraged all to always visit the GRA website (www.gra.gm) for updates on information.
