
In his resignation letter, Jah thanked the party's leadership, supporters and sympathisers for giving him the opportunity to serve in various capacities within the party.
“The love and respect they accorded me was excellent and worth my humble appreciation,” he writes in a letter below.
I write to inform the APRC National Chairman and Party leader, The Right Hon. Alhagie Fabakary Tombong Jatta, who doubles as The Speaker of the National Assembly, the APRC National Executive Committee and the entire APRC membership both home and the Diaspora that I am resigning as the Deputy Spokesperson & Director of Media effective today 18 March 2025.

I will never regret the time and effort I exerted in the party and my sincere appreciation goes to all the APRC loyalist, fans and well wishers, the media houses who at all times never hesitated for me to sound my opinion on trending issues, and the wonderful Gambian populace for their unflinching support at all times, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
While I still remain a member of the party (APRC), I remain yours in the service of the people and my beloved country The Gambia.
