Zurich FC and S.V Laar FC have advanced to the 2009-10 Serrekunda East Nawettan proper, after winning their final matches in the qualifiers over the weekend at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
S.V Laar FC also through to the Nawettan proper after edging out Herr-bi FC 1-0 in their final game, played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium at 5 pm kicks-off.
Both teams put up a spectacular performance in the game and created scoring chances in each other's goal mouth. But they had failed to hit each other's net and thus the first half ended 0-0.
Actions resumed in the second half, when S.V Laar FC who were confident made it to the Nawettan proper, mount pressured on Herr-bi FC defence line and as a result substitute striker, Bakary Samateh netted the winning goal for S.V Laar FC in the 64th minute of the game from brilliant finished, which sent S.V Laar FC to 2009-10 Serrekunda East Nawettan proper. They will now join Canon FC and BB Rovers FC
