Zone II Volleyball meeting ends

Musa Cassa Taal, president of The Gambia Volleyball Association, has returned from the just ended Zone II Volleyball meeting in the Senegalese capital of Dakar.

The meeting was said to have brought together members of the Zone II Association to review Khartoum’s reports among other things.

In an interview with Pointsport at his office yesterday after his return from the Zone Two Volleyball Meeting in Dakar, Musa Cassa Taal, who is also the Secretary General of Zone II Volleyball Association, said the meeting ended with strong plans to organize volleyball competitions and clinics among other important things.

He stated that the Confederation of African Volleyball competition will also stage a Beach Youth Volleyball tournament to be held in Cape Verde and also an in-door youth volleyball tournament to be hosted in Mali in June and July 2012.

According to Mr Taal, they also agreed to give support to all associations, adding that a sum of one thousand Switz Frank (CHF) will be given to all associations to run their activities.
