One Ebrima Njie was recently arraigned before Magistrate Charles Thomas of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court, charged with criminal trespass.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Touray objected to the bail on the grounds that he's threatening to kill the complainant.
However, Magistrate Thomas overruled the prosecution's objection and subsequently granted the accused person bail in the sum of D20, 000 with a Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 8th April 2010 for continuation.
