Yellow House emerged champions of the just-ended Upper Basic Schools’ Inter-house Athletics Championship held at the Armitage Senior Secondary School playground in Janjanbureh.
They secured 222 points to edge out Blue House who took 2nd position with 213 points.
Red House took 3rd position with 198 points while Green House finished at the bottom of the table with 153 points.
The athletics championship was part of the school’s preparations for the 2011 national inter-schools’ athletics final slated for 11 and 12 March 2011 at the Independence Stadium.
As the champions, Yellow House were awarded a giant trophy presented to them by director of education in Region 5, Modou Touray, who described the event as highly competitive.
