Bojang
Kunda family in Abuko village, Kanifing Municipality, have been rendered
homeless by a recent windstorm.
The
strong wind started in the early hours of Wednesday together with heavy rain
and lasted for several hours destroying the compound of Bojang family in Abuko.
Binta
Fofana, a victim, said valuable items such as DVD, television, rice, sugar and
other items were destroyed during the windstorm.
She
said they are currently lodged in a neighbouring compound for their house is
rendered inhabitable.
Binta
said since after the havoc of the windstorm, they struggle to put food on the
table for the family.

the lady is seeking support from well-meaning institutions and individuals to
help rebuild their house. She is
