The scorpions are bracing up to rub shoulders with Bafana Bafana in the continent’s biggest football fiesta, the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on 13 June 2015.
Nyassi said they cannot assure the Gambians that they are going to beat South Africa and get outright results because the team is a new team with new players but they will try to bring positive result back home that would make Gambians happy.
For his part, Mustapha Carol, said he is glad to play for the Gambia, saying that he was nursing himself for the past couple of months but he is back on his feet and would work hard in order to be fit to play against South Africa.
He added that he would try his level best to see the Gambia qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.
