Milan Football Club of Bakau are set to embark on a massive regional tour to various zones across the country commencing this Friday, a press release sent to Pointsport has revealed.
The ultimate aim of the proposed tour, according to officials from the Bakau-based Nawettan team, is to create an enabling environment for fruitful and cordial relationship among the target zones.
The tour is also aimed at connecting various administrators, coaches, players and fans at different zones, to familiarize Milan players to various grounds and environment, to facilitate and intensify the continuation of club affairs, to accumulate funds, especially in terms of re-organising the fans, which is perceived as key and also prepared ahead of the upcoming Nawettan season, and the third division qualifiers.

Milan FC in Bakau will embark on a massive regional tour this month, 19th March 2011. However, the management instigated this initiative sometime in January. The concept of the tour is to travel with a combination of players and fans to each target zone to play with their community team, (town team).
Milan are also travelling with one of Gambia’s most prominent DJ’s called PISCES and the tribe sound for amusement after the matches at night to amalgamate the youth from different communities.
Below is the list of the targeted Zones: Brikama, Brufut and Sukuta pitted in group A, while Serrekunda East, Serrekunda West,
Honorary guests from the Gambia Football Association, the National Sports Council, Gambia Football Coaches Association, Youth council, Ministry of Youth and Sports among other dignitaries are invited to grace this auspicious and worthy initiative.
At this juncture, the Milan Management cordially invites the general public to all the matches and fund-raising activities with DJ PISCES at the various communities outlined herein.
