Two Nigerian nationals were on Tuesday arraigned before senior Magistrate B. Mahoney of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court to answer a charge of assault, causing actual bodily harm.
The particulars of the alleged offence states that the duo, on 19th May 2009, jointly assaulted one Frank Obi by hurting him on the left eye, thereby causing him serious injury.
When the charge sheet was read to the accused in the language he understood, he pleaded not guilty.
Meanwhile, the accused persons were granted bail in the sum of D75, 000 each with two Gambian sureties.
