The Bundung Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Surahato Danso recently convicted and sentenced: Buba Bojang, Hassim SaidyBah and Musa Secka, following their plea of guilt to the offence charged.
They were sentenced on count one, to a fine of D1000, in default to serve five months in prison, while on count two, the trio were sentenced to a fine of D600, in default to serve five months in prison.
On count one, the particulars of offence stated that, on 4th December 2009, at Sukuta the convicts broke into the house of one Sheriff Maline Jammeh with intent to commit felony.
On count two, the offence reads that, on 4th December 2009, at Sukuta, the convicts stole 10 trousers, 8 shirts, 1 belt, 1 compact, DVD player and 2 cups.
