Impersonation case continues

The case of criminal trespass and impersonating a public officer involving one Omar Tunkara continued on Tuesday at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Dago.

Testifying, the third prosecution witness (PW3), Ramatoulie Manneh, told the court she is a student and that she recognised the accused person.

She recalled 20 November 2012, while she was at school, she had a problem with one Yusupha Nar, adding that she then went and explained to the accused person.

The accused came to the school and walked into the classroom, asking for the whereabouts of the said Yusupha Nar.

She further stated that the accused then proceeded to the principal’s office, adding that later the police came and asked for her.

She revealed that the accused told her that he is working at State House but she did not confirm, stating that the accused normally came to her compound whenever she closed from school. The case was adjourned till 22 January 2013.
