The
trial involving Tina Faal, former National Assembly Member, did not proceed
yesterday before Magistrate Omar Cham at the Banjul Magistrates’ Court.
According
to the court clerk, the magistrate was indisposed, saying the case would resume
today.
Tina
Faal was not present in court, but her lawyer, Combeh Gaye, was seen around the
court premises.
Tina
Faal earlier denied charges of conspiracy, obtaining goods by false pretence
and theft.
