Tassa Yaram won the grand combat
against Action at the Njie Gorre’s wrestling competition, held on Saturday at
the Serrekunda West Mini-Stadium. The defeat came through in favour of Tassa
Yaram, after a four-minute physical contract between the two opponents.
The weekend’s wrestling competition was staged by Ablie Gorre Njie, commonly known as Njie Gorre promotion in celebration of the President’s 48th birthday anniversary.
Earlier in the day, other wrestling combats were Emue Sene who was defeated by Machacha; Mama Lamin won Tanga Jirr, while Franc pulled down Aba Chine, all of them in a physical fight.
In another free-style combat, which was also competed among junior wrestlers on the stage, Mille Franc beat GRTS, followed by Undertaker who defeated Boy Pambal.
