Suwaibou Sanneh Leaves for Berlin

Gambian athlete Suwaibou Sanneh yesterday left Banjul for Berlin in Germany to take part in the World athletic senior championships.

Sanneh will join fellow Gambian athlete Fatou Tiyana who left earlier for the championships.

Speaking to Pointsport shortly before leaving for Berlin yesterday, Suwaibou Sanneh said this is the first time for him to participate in the World athletics senior championship competition abroad.
According to Mr. Sanneh the competition will go from the 15th-25th August 2009 promising that they will put the Gambian flag into higher heights during the competition. He also informed the Pointsport that Fatou Tiyana his counterpart was already in Berlin, Germany for the competition.
