Serrekunda East and Banjul are through to the quarterfinal of the 2016 FIBank-sponsored
Super Nawettan after eliminating Bakau and Brufut on Tuesday.
Sukuta
beat Gunjur 1-0 at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to progress to the last
eight.
Serrekunda
East came from one nil to draw one all at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Ceesay gave Banjul the lead in the 49th minute of the game before Ebrima Kinteh
levelled the scores for Serrekunda East in the stoppage time to share the
spoils and advance to the last eight.
Elsewhere,
Bakau defeated Brufut 1-0 at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on the same day.
The
Sanimentereng boys and Beach boys are both booted out of the 2016
FIBank-sponsored Super Nawettan after finishing second place from bottom and
bottom place in group B.
