Justice Emmanuel Amadi of the Banjul High Court today Thursday 15th July 2010 convicted and sentenced Lt. Gen Lang Tombong Tamba and seven others to death on two counts of treason and conspiracy.
The other accused persons are; Bri. Gen Omar Bun Mbye, Col. Lamin Bo Badjie, Lt. Col. Kawsu Camara (alias Bombardier), Modou Gaye, Gibril Ngorr Secka, Abdoulie Joof and Yusuf Ezziden (alias Rambo).
According to Justice Emmanuel Amadi, the convicts would suffer the death sentence as prescribe by the law.
