The second monthly draw for the Standard Chartered Bank Together To Win campaign was held on the 28th September 2010.
The Head of Marketing and Sales, Ramou Njai Loum said in her speech that Standard Chartered Bank's campaign this year is quite unique in that the bank is not only rewarding customers for bringing in new deposits but also rewarding them for introducing their families and friends. In addition she added, the bank is rewarding all their existing customers by way of entries into draws for all the funds that they had on their accounts before the 1st of July when the campaign started.
In her speech, she reminded customers that they would get rewarded by way of coupons for every D10, 000 they deposit into their accounts. Once the funds stay in their accounts for at least a month, they become eligible to enter the monthly draw for that month. In order to qualify for the mega draw, customers need to deposit a total of GMD200,000 which should stay on account for at least three months. She continued on to say that the Mega Draw, which is everyone's dream will be held next year with a mega prize of D1m investment account attached to it.
Prizes were presented to the winners of the 1st monthly draw, which was held last month. This time, the winners of this draw were: Ousman Dukuray who won a QCELL Muslim Phone, Jean Baptist Kangakan won a QCELL Dual SIM Phone, Polline Jammeh won a QCELL USB Data Card, Mamadi Ceesay won a QCELL Laptop with a USB Data Card and Fatima Gomez won a QCELL 32" Plasma TV with a Home Surround System.
Their prizes will be presented to them next month when they hold their 3rd monthly draw.
The CEO, Humphrey Mukwereza, in his closing speech, thanked all the customers for taking time off their busy schedules to be with them. He goes on to say that Standard Chartered Bank has been giving out great prizes in their monthly draws and encourages customers to make more deposits so they can increase their chances of winning in subsequent draws. He ended by thanking the media for the support they have been giving to the Bank.
