Serrekunda
East and Sukuta are through to the semifinal of Real De Banjul fifty-year
anniversary international football tournament after eliminating Real De Banjul
and FC Nouadihbou in the quarterfinal games played at the Independence Stadium
in Bakau on Wednesday.
Serrekunda
East booked their ticket to the semifinal following their penalty shootout win
over Real De Banjul, after their goalless draw in the regulation time in the
quarterfinal.
Sukuta
sailed to the semifinal following their 4-2 win over FC Nouadihbou, after their
1-1 draw in the regular time in the quarterfinal on same day.
Serrekunda
East will play against Sukuta in the semifinal today at the Independence
Stadium in Bakau.
The
East boys will be contending to beat Sukuta to advance to the final.
The
Dembadou boys will be fighting for revenge to progress to the final after
losing to Serrekunda East on penalties in the 2016 FiBank-sponsored Super
Nawettan third place play-off.
